The roots
For over seventy years, four generations have contributed to the growth of our company, creating unique accessories that bear witness to our passion for craftsmanship. "Everyone has a specific task in our company," explains Lory Persano, co-founder of the Salentino brand, adding, "I like to think of our company as a big family, a strong and flourishing tree, able to weather any storm thanks to its strong roots."
To get to know at least a small part of this company led by Alberto, Giuseppe and Lory Persano, one must visit the historical archive located on the first floor of the Maglie store where over seventy years of history and research are jealously guarded.
"When people ask us what the reason for our success is," explains Lory, "I answer: we have never forgotten who we were, we have never forgotten our roots, our traditions, but we have combined passion and innovation to create a unique product."

"When we talk about materials, we love to make our customers relive the passion with which we selected fine leathers, fabrics and velvets to make our product unique". Explains Giuseppe Persano founder of the brand "La Sellerie Limited"a brand that aims to make handmade in Salento known all over the world.

Entering the store in Maglie, one has the feeling of a return to the past, the noises of the old workshops, the dense buzz of the sewing machines and the strong scent of leather will make you relive a unique experience.
